Pleasant servers, nice atmosphere. Mozz bread as an appetizer was so good. I had the trio platter - lasagna was fabulous and ravioli very tasty; the pesto chicken was dry but everything else was fantastic! Hubby had the “super spicy gi pasta” - it had a nice dash of heat but not at all overwhelming. Prime dinner time was pretty noisy but it quieted down by dessert. Our tiramisu was one of the best we’ve ever had! We wish we had another night in Tahoe - we would have come back! Can’t wait for the next time we’re in town, definitely planning to be back.

We ate at this little gem of a restaurant two years ago after being referred by locals. What a lucky find! We couldn't wait to come back! They serve the best cheese ravioli on the planet. Here's an "insider tip": try "Mama's Gravy". Don't like mushrooms? Neither do we! Seriously, try it anyway. The server we had two years ago recommended it, even though we DO NOT eat mushrooms. He convinced us. That was the last time we had mushrooms - well, until tonight LOL. This special family owned and operated restaurant makes you feel welcome the minute you walk in, and spoils you with wonderful service and delicious food.

The best Lobster Campanelle and Rib Eye Steak I have ever had. It's fantastic! We've been there 5 times now and at different times in the year and never had any problems with a wait and service was great! The bread they give you while your order is being prepared is fantastic. Everything is fresh.

Sign in window said they were closed permanently, and thank you for the 13 years, no cars in the parking lot Friday, or Saturday night. Just the sign. I'm disappointed. This restaurant quickly became my Tahoe favorite.

Every time we go to Lake Tahoe we have to make a reservation at Capisce. It is a little taste of Italy in South Lake Tahoe! Their food is delicious, the staff is kind, and the ambiance is amazing! It’s tucked away and definitely a hidden gem. Make sure to make reservations ahead of time. You won’t be disappointed.
